Ski & Snowboard School (7+ years)

Professional instructors, low instructor to student ratio. Burton snowboard equipment, gentle slopes, lack of crowds and friendly environment provide an ideal place to learn how to ski or snowboard. We offer a variety of programs, packages and clinics for beginners, intermediate and advanced skiers and riders. Open hours 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.

Diamond Peak teamed up with Burton Snowboards to make learning to snowboard easy and fun!  Burton's specially designed snowboards are softer flexing and easier to turn.  The right equipment teamed up with proven teaching techniques  make learning simple.  Burton LTR boards are included in each of these beginner snowboard group lesson packages.

Lesson Packages

Includes equipment rental for the day, (1) one hour and 45 min. group lesson and lift ticket for the day appropriate for your ability level. Children ages 7-14 and Adults. The lessons are available twice daily, at 10am and at 2pm.Reservations are not accepted. Arrive at least one hour early.

First time beginner or novice (2nd or 3rd time). Lift ticket included accesses our 2 beginner ski lifts.

Intermediate and above. This lift ticket included accesses the entire mountain. $92
Afternoon lesson upgrade from a morning package-if you purchase a package and take the 10am lesson, you can take the afternoon lesson at a discount. $35

Sierra Scout All Day Adventure

Ages 7-14. All levels. 10am-4pm. Package includes morning and afternoon group lesson, equipment rental, lift ticket, and supervised lunch. Click here for tips on the Sierra Scout Adventure

Ski or snowboard. For adults and children 7 -14 years. Lesson meeting times are at 10am and 2pm and last 1 hour and 45 minutes. Register at any ticket booth.

North Lake Tahoe "Snow Pack" Ski and Snowboard Program

The Snow Pack program is 8 week non-competitive program for North Shore students ages 7-14 of all abilities. It's from 10am- 4pm on the following dates: Jan 22 & 29, Feb 5, 12 &26, March 4, 11 & 18. (no lessons 2/19). The cost is $350 which includes lesson, lift ticket and rentals or $315 without rental equipment. To sign up call (775) 832-1253 or stop by Guest Services.
