New Skier Services Building ConstructionPhase 2 Renovation
Diamond Peak Ski Resort is working on the second phase of a 2 year renovation project. The first phase was finished in 2008 with a complete remodel of the Base Lodge. Collaborative Design Studio Architects was hired to create a state-of-the-art customer centric facility that will improve traffic flow and enhance the overall quality of the customer experience immediately upon arrival at the resort. In the past there were 3 separate outdated buildings that were spread throughout the base area which will now be combined into one modern 10,950 square foot Skier Services Building. This new state of the art building will consist of a new Child Ski Center, Ski and Snowboard School, newly designed Ticket Windows, Public Restrooms, Ski Patrol and Administration offices. Another addition will be stairs connecting the upper and lower parking lots allowing people to move between the lots without having to go through the Base Lodge. It will give people direct access to the new Plaza area in front of the Skier Services Building. The second phase of the renovation project will be completed before the resort opens in December. Please continue to check the website for more updates.
