Here's to an awesome ski season!

Hi skiers! The 2008-9 season is wrapping up. I have had some great races these past few weeks. At the Junior Olympics I placed top three twice, getting a silver in the giant slalom and a bronze in the slalom!! It was a great experience too!
The Far West Championships have started now with the slalom and giant slalom events. In the GS at Sugar Bowl, I won first place for the J3's both days and got 4th and 3rd overall even racing against college racers!
At the Emily Clothier Memorial slalom races at Heavenly, I swept for J3's! (I also finished 4th on the first day and 2nd on the final day in the overall field.) The first place prize was a beautiful gemstone and I won two!
The speed champs--super-G and downhill--will be April 20-26 at Mammoth Mountain. Until then I am going to go out there and have fun on the final snow we have here at Diamond Peak. I wanted to thank the mountain for giving us great training space and thank all of the lift ops for waking up early and all the groomers for doing a great job for prepping our training hill. Thanks guys!
See eveyone out there Saturday for the 6th annual Diamond Cup race! It's a good time and all proceeds benefit our Diamond Peak Ski Team!
