Autumn at Diamond Peak

Hello skiers and riders! The scene has been buzzing up here in North Lake Tahoe ever since last week’s early snow. People have been calling with a plethora of questions in planning their upcoming winter ski trips to Tahoe. I even had one caller who thought we were open already. No, not yet. We still have awhile to go before we are at that point. But it is nice to look around the basin and see snow-capped peaks once again. In addition to the white peaks and pines, spots of gold and bright orange also dot the landscape as the aspens and other deciduous trees are now alive with color. It is truly breathtaking. As we turn, turn, turn from warm weather and to a brisk and often unpredictable fall, we look forward to another great season. Some changes this year include our Holiday Pass, where you can ski 28 Holiday Dates for only $249. Also, we have lowered our price for our beginner ski packages for ages 7 and older, starting at $69. And great news for parents, we changed our child age range from 7-12 to 7-14, and the youth age is 15-17. So kids 13 & 14 now pay the child price on tickets, passes, and rentals! Here at Diamond Peak, we sincerely want to make your experience the best possible, so you can enjoy your family time and not stress out, so we are continually reviewing our products and making changes that all families benefit from. Our projected opening date is December 10th, but all I keep hearing is “early” and “big” winter, so keep checking back to see if that date changes! Until then, we'll be hanging out with you on Facebook and twitter. We hope you enjoy your colorful fall!
