I just got off the mountain and had a chance to meet a lot of happy skiers and snowboarders on opening day. Conditions are really good, coverage is excellent and we are one of only 4 resorts in Lake Tahoe open top-to-bottom. Our snow makers did a fantastic job allowing us to open a week earlier than scheduled, with little to no natural snow!  Crystal Express is open, offering spectacular lake views and lots of skiing down Crystal Ridge to Sunnyside. We also have Lodgepole and School House open accessing  our beginner terrain.  This week is Learn-to-Ski and Snowboard Week, first-time skier and snowboard packages are just $30.  Plus our Bee Ferrato Child Ski Center is in full operation. 

With continued cold nighttime temperatures we expect to have Lakeview Quad, including Snowflake Lodge, open by the end of next week. Remember we are the best value in Lake Tahoe, Adult Lift tickets are $54 and Children are $20, Kid 6 and under are free (including holidays.)  For those of you that have a season pass at another ski area, we offer a $25 lift ticket, $35 on holidays, come check us out!  Hope to see you on the mountain soon.-Brad
